Additional important information

  • Rated five-star gold by Visit England

  • Maximum occupancy - 2 people; perfect for a romantic trip

  • Dog friendly - we gladly accept 1 dog, we provide a hot & cold doggie shower, treats, poo-bags feeding bowls and a dog bed.

  • Guests benefit from a lower per-night rate for stays of 7 or 14 nights, either Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday

  • We price according to season, our lowest rate is from January to the end of March, it may be cold outside but its snug inside

  • Our minimum stays are three nights for a Friday afternoon arrival or four nights for guests arriving on Monday afternoon

  • Welcome pack on arrival, (please inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements when booking)

  • All basics provided from oils & herbs to toiletries and detergents for the washing machine & dishwasher 

  • Check-in anytime from 5:00pm, Check out at 10:00am, please call us if you need access outside these times

  • We use 400 thread count Egyptian cotton linen and Hungarian goose down duvets & pillows

  • Parking for one car on-site

  • Private and secure gardens to front and rear

  • At Southleigh Holidays, we require a security deposit of £250 returned in 3 days from check-out date if there is no damage

  • House rules

    • We are a non-smoking and non-vaping house

    • Acorn Cottage is for two adults only

    • Please refrain from playing very loud music

    • If you are bringing your dog, they are not allowed on beds/furniture and they are not to be left on their own in Acorn Cottage

  • We are on our own sewage system that requires the following care:

    • Please bag any sanitary waste apart from human waste and toilet paper (facilities are provided)

    • Mop up all excess fats & greases with the provided paper towels, before items are either hand-washed or put through the dishwasher

    • Refrain from putting any alcoholic beverages down the sink… enjoy them yourselves or feel free to feed the plants!

    • Use the eco-friendly products provided as standard, please don’t use bio washing detergents or bleaches as this damages the operation of our water treatment plant.
